A two-sheet set of oversized handmade amate paper in Café and Crème. Made in Puebla, Mexico from natural tree-bark fibers, each sheet carries its own variations in tone, texture, organic openings and deckled edges. At 38.5 × 16 in (98 × 40 cm), the paper has enough scale and visual presence to stand alone as an art material or finished wall piece.

THE COLORS
Café offers a deep, natural brown tone, while Crème provides a lighter ivory-colored surface. Together, they create a warm, natural contrast suited to layered compositions, interiors and material-focused work.

Amate has been made in Mexico since pre-contact times and remains part of a living material tradition in Puebla. Its fibrous construction and naturally formed openings give every sheet an expressive surface—whether displayed whole or transformed through another process.
